I understand your views and personally I also believe community should be aware of such agencies. However honestly please tell me, if the agency will go for legal actions against this post, how many of you would like to stand on what you have said and would prefer to become part of the legal actions.

We have had issues in the past and do not want any trouble.
Before giving examples of media sites, please read my post - I have clearly said "We are not a Media site". Toronto Star could afford to put allegations on whatever they want - there are laws protecting Media Sites. Also they write things only after having evidences. But for discussion forum like the laws are not clear and we do not have time of fund to support such things. And do we have any evidence? No - CD members even do not know you by real name!!!
Someone calling me Coward?? If you guys are not coward, there are small claims courts and community lawyers, why don't you take your cases with them? You probably do not have courage to fight on your own and would just like to hide yourself like such discussion forums. Fight your own, win the case and post a message here with case details - I will keep it posted entirely.
Another important thing - Isn't it possible that you personally do not like that company (or could be a competitor) and would like to defame it? On the web it is not possible for us (as site moderators) to verify any such claims and would rather avoid such postings. I know in this case The Star also reported same thing so the allegations could be real, but in general it is not possible for us to validate any such claims.
And I got money to remove such posts? I know such allegation are of extremely poor choice and obviously persons making such allegations do not know the history of this site making. PM me or other moderators if you need to know more about it.
After all this reply, there is a way to make the community aware about such companies. If there are news articles around those companies - like the one posted here - you are welcome (rather encouraged) to post them as a news links. Something like I will be doing in the next post.

The claim will cost $3,000, he says, but it will buy time to find the guy.CWC Immigration boasts on its website of four Canadian and two Punjab offices, staffed by "capable" consultants who have "created the path to Canada for individuals across the globe."
It appears that at least two are registered members of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants. Arora is not one of them.
Arora ushers the Star undercover reporters into a windowless cubicle in the busy office, the din of other consultations in three languages spilling from nearby offices.
Arora explains the refugee route has benefits. You will automatically get a work permit; you can obtain identification.
How will it work? Arora explains in a mix of Hindi, Punjabi and English that a certified consultant from the company will take care of representing the client to officials.
"When you claim refugee status, then a CSIC member will go with you. Then he puts your story forward.
"He has to tell some story. Then he says, `This is (your) problem.' Now naturally he'll say about some problem in India. That I am not safe over there, blah, blah, blah. Whatever, whatever the story is."
Star: "You'll make it up?"
Arora: "I will sit with you and make it up."

Very astute.
There are SA newspapers who are co-owned and co-own immigration services and may not want to expose another lest stones are thrown at their own windows.
Best newspaper targetted towards the SA community that actually does something 'cos they have the backing of The Brampton Guardian, who in turn have the backing of other heavies, is "South Asian Focus"
And for those who wish to make poor choice comments for suggesting he above newspaper, heed the administrator's words.

I totally agree with you abut the Hissa-Patti thing. All these local radio stations are running their ads 24-7 and having the talk shows at the same time regarding the social crisis in Indo-Canadian community. No wonder our community is number one in immigration frauds because of these agencies who are misleading them.
Yes something is wrong with those people....my experience.
I came here as an International student. I filed for my Canadian Permanent Resident status under Skilled Category through the CWC Immigration Solutions Inc. This Immigration Firm is registered under the name of Mr. Kamalpreet Khaira, Registrar # M052683. My representative, an employee of CWC was Mr. Harry Singh. My application got refused and I personally feel it was due to the lack of efforts on CWC behalf to prepare my file.
I am totally left in an awe with the kind of representation I got.
1) The CWC representative failed to advise me that for Skilled category I need a General category IELTS certificate with 7 bands in all 4 parameters of language competency. He assured me of 16 points in the language whereas the VISA Officer gave me only 14 points because I had 6.5 bands in one of the language exam parameters. It was only after the refusal that I came to know I was having a Academic IELTS Certificate instead of General IELTS Certificate. I lost my PR for 1 point, which I would have easily secured had someone told me to apply with a 7 band.
2) Before applying the consultant failed to inform that my work experience in Canada as an Inventory Clerk and Material Handler will not be considered under Skilled Category. The VISA Officer declined to accept my work skilled as a result I lost all the points which my representative assured me under the WORK EXPERIENCE parameter.
3) In their promotion brochures the CWC firm always advertise about the Refund Policy in case of refusal. Now they are refusing to refund blaming it on the VISA OFFICER's discretion. At the time of filing my application I was never given any heads up that the Refund Policy holds good only if the refusal is due to the lack of attention on the firm's behalf.
4) The CWC representative failed to attach my Police Clearance Certificate from OPP with the application which was sent to the Buffalo Consulate.
5) The CWC representative failed to attach the copy of my Bachelors of Business Administration Diploma from Georgian College, Barrie, Ontario with my application which I feel was one of the most necessary document as it speaks about my educational background.
I request the authorities at the CSIC to look into these matters seriously. Just because of these few culprits the reputation of the entire category of Immigration Consultants is at the stake. They just want to get the clients in without paying any heed to the eligibility to apply. I am personally feeling so ripped and mislead.
