Dr.Subramanian Swami, Professor of Economics and Statistics at Harvard University is a profound scholar on Hinduism and Hindu Society. He is also the Author of best selling book 'Hindus under siege'. He was a minister in the GOI in the erstwhile cabinet of the late PM Chandrashekar.He started with RSS and later moved onto main stream. He was also the MP from South India and currently the leader of Janata Party in India.He is also a Lawyer by profession.
He made a presentation at the Ram Mandir in Mississauga today(11th August 2007) and he will be making a presentation at the Oakville Hindu Mandir at 4.00PM on 12th August 2007.These series of speeches are being sponsored by the Kanchi Kamakoti Seva Trust.
His book called \"Hinduism under Siege\" is being distributed for a contribution of $10 which goes to the Kanchi trust. He is talking about the current state of affair for Hindus in India and what will be the future if you do not act upon now. He is also signing his book and you could take a picture with him.
This is more a political presentation and less of religion. He is giving plenty of factual information and how we could influence GOI sitting in the West through our MP's and MPP's. As he is close to the US government and also the Israeli government we could get to hear the inner thinking of these governments towards Hindus and India. My attitude towards George W.Bush has made a 180 Degree turn for the positive after speaking to Dr.SS one on one today. His information of how he used Isreali Mossad and Indian RAW to get the daughter of an Kashmiri MP released who was kidnapped by JKLF was chilling and straight out of Hollywood.
Any one who is worried for the future of Hinduism in India/ Hindustan please make it a point to attend this presentation and also how you could be a tool to make Hinduism stronger. It is not a question of growth but a question of survival for Hinduism in India.
Other than this guy and Narendra Modi - there is no saviour for Hindu causes in India even when we are 83% of the population.

Poor Hinduism
I heard a lot about Dr.Swami in India who last his teaching profession by entering into Indian politics, especially North Indian ! and last his positive identity and gained bad name from a ordinary fellow citizen of India. He is a Scholar, no doubt about that but he spoiled his professional career by entering into politics. One time he regretted in a TV interview that if he would have not discontinued his teaching profession at Harvard,would have made a serious attempt towards to qualify for a Nobel Prize in the Index theory. Anyway this is his life, Let all Hindus living in North America may follow his foot steps and two Shankaracharya's (Kanchi and Canadian Desi) foot steps. Valgaha Hinduism all over the World to save the Planet.

All his meetings were well attended and the response was rousing. The organizers were simply thrilled and beyond belief on the response obtained in USA/Canada and UK at this moment. This itself has set several eyebrows raising and eyelids opening up with astonishment.

The points he covered were as follows:
1.Establish the concept of an Indian identity and mindset.
For example: Globally Indian Hindus are perceived as weaklings who will accept authority without a fight. The classic case of the every other Indian governments releasing jailed terrorists when forced upon with a hijacking or kidnapping. The recent cases being V.P.Singh, A.B.Vajpayee and others too. If attacked retaliate. If required use the help of countries like USA, Israel and others who count upon India as a friend. This can be done through the VERY STRONG Indian NRI lobby.
*When the recent bomber in the Mumbai train bombings was asked what was his strategy to place the bomb he said he planted the bomb under 1st Class compartment as this was used by Gujarati Hindu Businessmen mainly and in one stroke he could shake the Indian economy.
*Case and point our own chief minister of Andhra Pradesh wanted to give out 3 hills of the Tirumala temple for various construction projects and when he was in Chicago he was the ghareod by the strong Telugu NRI group and he had to retreat and promulgate a ordinance to make them the hills state territory.
*Debunk the theory of this Aryan -Dravidian divide promulgated along with the North -South divide which was promulgated by the British by falsely manufacturing information to suite their individual needs of divide and rule India.
* Make the concept of Hindustan, which is the land of Hindus and Hinduism known as sanatana dharma.
2.Enlightened Secularism and common heritage.
3.Uniform Civil Code for India.
4.Economic Reform under Globalization: Throwing out the Nehruvian Agenda and bringing in the one propagated by Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhai Patel.
5.National Security Doctorine.
Plan of Action:
Unite all the Hindus by bringing together all the Sants, Gurus, Swamis, Acharyas, Adigalars, Adheenams and other religious leaders under one umbrella. This will be purely based on Hindu lines and not on any caste/communities or other division. Guide the Hindus to vote as one vote bank and not to split the votes. The guy who gets the Hindu votes enblock will be the guy who pursues the Hindu agenda. There has been a group formed and it will be expanded by bringing many others under one umbrella. The group will be meeting for the third time in Bangalore in November 2007, which includes the various Acharyas, Sri.Ravishankar to name a few.This would later have the support and blessings of various SUPER STARS in various fields & languages!.
