I don't think you can convert to Hinduism . You have to be born of Hindu parents. Wha she can do now is pray to God so that she si born into a Hindu famiy in her next life.

That's WHY we are having to deal with caste system and now with reservations in India.

Organized religion is nothing but a tag. Spirituality is about freedom not just from "unhappiness" but also from organized religion.

PS: I am not anti Hinduism, infact I have lot of respect for Hinduism but I am not a great fan of fanatics be it from Sikhs, Hindu's, Muslims and Christians.

She converting to sikh would have been better idea. I will write to her and SPGC.

The moment she gets a movie in say a sci-fi thriller she will start studying science..or get tour in space tourism etc....may be?

There is no equivalent of "proselytising" in Hinduism - you cannot convert to Hinduism. I wonder if any media reporting these news try to understand and report the concept of Hinduism. For them, it is just a big news item as a Hollywood bigwig is involved.

Are not Sikh's Hindu ? ....unless you are talking about caste or Panth.
