did anyone see the idolisation of the players on the desi news channels? one channel went on a seemingly never ending streak of broadcasting the images of the players in action & playing hindi songs in the backup ground like "Jeet jayenge hum, tu agar sang hai, zindagai har kadam nayi jung hai..." etc.
it was hilarious, reminded me of the scene from Hyderabad Blues in which Nagesh K was woken early morning by blares of "Main to arati utaru re...." played by a street hawker.
desi news channels have no less melodrama compared to other soap sagas.
Since Zaheer has contradicted Dravid, there could be others who feel the same way but are hesitant to come out, or they will face the axe. Dravid lacks killer instincts. Dada was much better. He would have gone for the follow on. Hope Dravid learns from this.

The English batting line up have been very succesful during the past few series, rattling up 500 plus runs even against the famed Aussies quite a number of times. If players like Peiterson and Collingwood had clicked and if Indians were left with 200 runs and 2 sessions it would have been enough for them (Indians) to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Probably Dravid did not want to put too much pressure on Sachin.
