Is there a way to renew PR card without actually living in Canada

Dear Friends,
Kindly advice:
I am working in Eastern Europe in a good MNC and from time to time I have been to Canada for few weeks in 4 year period.I did not stay in Canada because I had a good job and was enjoying bachelor life.
As time passes and life changes and priority changes so happened with me.During this 4 years I got married and have a kid.Sponsored wife and kid to Canada also but kept working in Eastern Europe and family was living with me in Europe.
Now I see things from a family point of view and want to go to canada and settle there.
BUT the issue is that my PR would be expiring in less than one year time and I want to extend it .
How to extend the PR card given that I have not stayed there for 2 years in five years time? Any way out? What reason I can give to CIC so that they extend my PR card.

No employer is not canadian.
I believe the short and correct answer is no.
Besides, how were you able to sponsor your wife and kid for Canadian PR without living in Canada?
This is illegal and can cause you problems if you all try to enter Canada at the same time.
What I understand that there is no way out! But there must be some way out.
Maybe I should try to speak with CIC and tell them my intention of making Canada my permanent home and give them some solid reasons and make them convience.
Do you think this is a right way to go ahead?Would it work?

You convinced CIC once & got the PR; do you think they would believe you for a second time?

YOU : Because I have not completed my residency requirement to maintain my PR status.
IMM OFFICER : No problem. As long as you remain within Canada and provide proof at the end that you did do your residency, you can become a Canadian
YOU : But I am in Kazakhstan right now.
IMM OFFICER :- you know you cannot technically be a PR if you are not LIVING in Canada.
YOU : Yes I know. But I really want to make Canada my home.
IMM OFFICER : If that is the case then why are you not here already?
