Plaza Flamingo at college and bathurst is not really a totally mex joint but the ambience is good on a weekend.
And you can enjoy a flamenco show to boot. No castanets, though and the performers are from latin america not Spain.
But it's gnar. If you like calamares, they have some real dank ones.the paella is good- but that's not mex it's spanish.
sometimes they have a band called flamenkathak there that does a fusion of flamenco and kathak- pretty cool stuff.
I haven't really eaten good mex food here.
This thread is giving me ideas:-d maybe i should hire open one tex-mex joint..looks like there is demand but no supply ;-)
Any of these restaurants where you can get good vegetarian fare? Essentially beans instead of beef? I'm bored of Taco Bell.
I went to a mexican rest. near the airport once, but the veggie version of the food sucked big time. The US restaurants like chi-chi's and some other ones do a pretty good job at "vegefying" the fare.
First hand experiences would be appreciated.
