if you can try to find any apartment that would put you in a 3 month agreement (at most) near work. After you move there, then you can decide on a more permanent apartment or house.

There are some S. Asian organizations in K-W that can help .. like the Tamil organization. If you need details you could ping me.

Don't be too stressed about K-W. Its a nice place to live, generally safe, many tech. jobs, short distances, friendly people, good bus service, lots of amenities.

As I mentioned only downsides are you will miss Desi stuff and Waterloo gets quite a bit of snow, compared to GTA.

We Indian go to many crappy indian restaurant. Some indian restaurant prepare food in such horrible way when food come it some time difficut to recognize what I ordered and what i got.

I came across a very good Indian restaurant in Guelph. I would like to say the best Indian food came acorss in Canada so far.

I am putting this comments just to promote good work owner is doing. Name of the restaurant is Diana Restaurant. I liked Corrinder Chicken and butter chicken, taste like any good delhi restaurant.
