Dear all CD members,

Has anyone experienced an HD satellite receiver? Since the prices are coming down, now I really wish to optimize my PLASMA HD viewing, since so many PPVs are coming in HD.

There are many names like Viewsat, Coolsat etc... which one is to choose?

Regards,

VJ.

For True HD Experience you might need to add extra Hardware ... I am not too sure though.

Look at http://www.gosatellite.ca/ ... and talk to local Viewsat Dealer.

Which one is good to have:
1) Viewsat Pro Viewsat VsPro (true PVR redesign)
0r 2) Viewsat Ultra (USB and fast)
or 3) Viewsat Extreme

We are primarily looking for Indian Channels such as Zee, Star Plus, Sony.

Which is realiable source to buy these

Hi,

I have a Viewsat Ultra and its perfect. Yes its costlier then Captive works, but the most important factor in FTA is the population of receivers in themarket. I mean if the consumers are more for a particular brand then the bin files or keys etc.. would be getting released much faster. As a matter of fact I never require KEYS to be entered as the ULTRA has the auto roll working perfectly.

Rgds,

Vj

From where did you buy the receiver and who installed it for you? What is auto roll?
