Visa Processing Fee to sponsor a child is CAD $ 150

What I would suggest is that she can return to Canada with the child and immediately submit the application to sponsor the child. Currently, CPC Mississauga is taking approx. 32 days to process the application and forward it to the overseas Vias Post. Hopefully, the visa should be approved within 6 months and she can go to Buffalo to get the Confirmation of Permanent Residence and she can re-enter Canada to get PR status for the child
