Please let me know Maximum How long a PR Canadain can Sty out of canada. Since my wife is Out of canada almost 18 months. Just because we have one baby born out of canada & I apply for sponcership still in process in ISB & waiting for her visa. Please let me know until when She can come back to Canada ? Her Pr card Expire in 2011

Keeping your permanent resident status
Your permanent resident status allows you to live in Canada, but there is also a time limit on how long you can live outside the country. To keep your status as a permanent resident, you must live in Canada for at least two years within a five-year period.
