Hi -- seniors please help,
I'm landing (under FSW category) on March 15 without my family--who'll join me later in May.
1) Since a family of 4 needs to show CAD20,599 as proof of funds, should I take all the money with me and tell immigration check that my family will follow me later? or just take my share of CAD5,000 and have my wife and kids bring the other CAD15,000?
2) Should I fill out the Custom Form (usually filled 1 for whole family) in advance for my wife and 2 kids beforehand? or will i have to fill 1 for myself and another for the rest of the family?. Also, where do get the Custom form?
3) For the list of all things that I'm bringing to Canada, is there a template or a form that I need to fill, or me typing it in a table form on a plain paper will do the trick?
4) As the family will come later, they will have to just carry their own COPRs, right?
5) Can the permanent mailing address be that of my employer in Toronto?
