I am going to appear for IELTS.
Can anybody give me some clues/tips/suggestions for the test. I am under old law. So I need to get scores only in Reading, Writing, Speaking.

Will it work if I score 6 bands ?

There is few groups in yahoo which is very helpful for you. Like IELTS-Exams (Talk about your experience in IELTS ), IELTS Passport etc. Which is very helpful.

hi,

buy one of the handbooks with the cassette for listening.Thats how i did it a month ago,it really helps.But,anyway its quite simple don't worry 2 much.

Dear Rojoyo,

To get good scores in IELTS Test you need to know the pattern with some practice as during the exam you might miss out on some questions(The major limiting factor is Time). And therefore might not be able to score good even though, in reality your English is Good. I would personally say, that IELTS is just not a test for English, rather a test for your psychological skills too...
