Hi there, I recently purchased a new home from builder at a cost of 455K Granite, Parquett floor, Cvac all In.
Can any new home buyer list here the expenses at the time of closing? I am confused how much it will cost me next year.

I don't want to go into detail, but keep about 1- 1.5 % of the cost of the new house aside in closing cost. General thumb rule, so budget for thar
It cost me around 1 % of the cost of my new house in closing cost like real estate lawyer fees , title insurance, utility hook ups like hydro, heating , water, home phone etc when I bought my new house from the builder.
It varies a bit , also depends on the province and city..but not by much.

Some of what the Lawyers charge are vague and they will charge a buck for a Photocopy and Fifteen for a FAX etc., they are exorbitant but are necessity in their trade. That is the cost of owning a home.
