Hi,

There are standard letter size two drawer filing cabinets @ ($29.99 at Walmart some even less than that. Some have locks. Many don't.) Zellers carry them too.

Three drawer laterals are there. Also two drawer ones too. Two will be between $125-$150. The three drawer ones are around $200 +/-. With locks are a lot more expensive.

If you are buying just one, then the choice is the new ones. If they are not for the day to day use, then any one should do. If you rarely open them or just for storage of your personal documents, then look for the same in Used Office Furniture storage section, there will be a wider selection at those locations. Cheap? Very rarely.

There are free BUY and SELL magazines and some for sale also on the magazine shelf in the variety stores, if you want to see all of Canada 'for sale items'. Here you will see them at the rock bottom prices.
