Need some help in filling out the applications (Sponsorship, Immigration and Region specific forms). Should i hire a lawyer for completing the paperwork. Do any of you guys have copy of the forms that you filed for your spouse, maybe you can give me (Of course after deleting your important info). Please guys i want to get this done quickly as soon I come back to canada.

I am not sure if this facility is still available but few years back when we wanted to apply for VISITOR Visa for our parents.. we got all our forms checked by one of the worker at Brampton Neighbourhood. free of cost.

This a service that they provided. Check with local Neighbourhood. If you yourself has come through some agent .. they do spousal case free. (they are not that good anymore) but they did it for me. and for 1 month the application just sat in their Chandigarh office.

recently we hired an agent to fill our forms to apply for parents immigration. they take around $250/- that was from my experience.

I can't imagine what help someone would need to fill out the forms. The forms are fairly straightforward and self-explanatory. It really doesn't say much for the quality of immigrants Canada is getting if people need help with the forms.

That is RUDE for sure. Sometimes the questions are so confusing... and everyone knows the time it takes for these things to get processed... I sponsored my parents and it took 2 years just to reach at beginning of process... and at that point if some paper is missing or some information is not presented in proper format they just send the application back.

If you can't help someone why Comment? that's something I did not expect from a Senior desi.

I have been seeing a lot of these "if you can't even fill out forms, you are not fit to immigrate" statements lately.

Not everyone is good at filling out forms, determing what documents are needed and then gathering them.

If someone has decided to fill out the forms on their own and not hire a consultant/lawyer, and needs some help on the forum, I believe we should offer whatever help we can, instead of deriding them on their form-filling skills.

That said, I would also like for the help seekers to be more specific instead of saying can anyone fill this out for me or give me a copy of their forms.

It's likely that you have specific questions about certain fields or documents - try and ask as specific questions as possible.

apsingla and pratickm, you are both right.
When filing forms, especially those for sponsorship, everybody's situation is different. What I meant is it seems, people don't even want to expend their energy to give it a shot, and want to rely on a lawyer sort of firm etc.
Honestly, it's a little annoying because I feel these guys are just getting ripped off for nothing.
If it is indeed something where genuine help is required, I'd be glad to help too.

It's not just about hiring Lawyers to fill forms because I cannot do this sometimes it's worth your time. You have to agree that people who are dealing on a daily basis are faster than myself. I am going to fill 1 application in my life tiem maybe 2 but these professionals fill it in 100's. they chagre for their guidence.

I am educated enough that I can fill any kind of form but still we get it done through lawyer for $250 because it gives me peace of mind/ more quality time with family/ and a sense of relief that it's going to be accurate. Depends what you want .... save money or tension free mind. It depends on individuals situation.

If I have enough money I'll have someone clean for me.. cook for me.. does not mean i don;t know how to cook or clean.
