Hi, I am on work permit here in Canada, I have applied for PR, I received request for Medical yesterday(it says no Interview is necessary at this time), next month end I am travelling back home(India). I have also got the appointment for Medicals first week of july.
Would like to know what to do in this case, should I give change of address to Indian address after Medicals or give one of my friend's address in Canada, so that he/she receives the passport request,then they can mail it to me and I can get it stamped for PR in India? - let me know if this is possible, thanks!

If you are still on a work permit and also have a valid multiple entry Visa to get in and out of Canada, then, first complete your Medicals.
If you are still employed and can return back and resume after holidays, then re enter back into Canada. Then when you get through your Medicals and receive a response to submit the Passport, you will still be here in Canada.
You surely can provide them with any address where some one will look after your interests, here in Canada, if you are anticipating a positive reply.
If you want to submit your passport for stamping from India, contact them and find out if it is O.K.with them. Contact the Buffalo Offices, or e-mail for a response from them.
