Thanks for your suggestions Freddie.
My Family has been already included in my PR application as they were with me in Canada when I was on work permit.
We all completed our medicals.
My only problem is to get Immigration Visa stamped on our passports and receive COPR as we are in India and our file is in New York.
Now can I apply Visitor visa for ourselves. Will it effect our PR application by any means?
If we can apply, when should we apply, before or after receiving the passport request?
Why I need Visitor visa is to send our passports to NewYork office from Canada
Thanks for your time.
To inform you, all your applications are approved in principle. You applied through Buffalo N.Y. and left Canada in a hurry. The process might take up to six months or longer. You can surely apply and pay for the Visitors' Visa. I am not the Officer who is going to permit you to travel while your PR application in progress. So go ahead and try. If it complicates the matters, the files will get transferred to Nova Scotia and it will take some inordinate time and delays in the processing. You will have to bear with it. It could even happen now, not because I said so, because, that will be the normal path for it, while you are residing in your native coountry. Now your Medicals from India will trigger that flag and will tell them that you are no longer in Canada and the process will take its own course from here.
So, bear with me and lie low till you hear from them for your PP request for stamping. They will also tell you where to send them for the stamping. You do not have to do anything. They have Main Frame Computers and they are on alert.
Enjoy your sojourn. Don't worry be happy.
Freddie.
