India rainbow has some services for seniors in Mississauga, and they are also opening a centre in Brampton. For $15 a day, they can spend the whole day at centre (vegetarian lunch included). I know this because I was looking for a similar activity for my mom.

But again, being senior has more to do with the state of your mind and not age. If your father is mentally active, he may have tough time adjusting people who are also "mentally retired"

My parents are in early 80s. My father who is a retired officer from Military is always seeking company to discuss politics, news, etc with someone of his age group. We live in Brampton, I guess if you are in Brampton or close to Brampton, they could easily meet and spend sometime together. We have tried India Rainbow in Brampton and there were no activities to keep seniors busy, just sitting ideally or doing childesh stuff makes him very bore so he quit going there. let me know if you are interested!..
