Dear All,
i will be landing in april 2004 in toronto.I have akid of 1and half year old.i would like to know if my wife can work something from home so that she can earn while looking after the kid.she is basically a law graduate with some computer exposure.

First land, settle the family, find some work for yourself to support family, then worry about wife to do something. With 1 1/2 yr old kid give her a break. She is going to have her hand full with kid and settling in new country for a year or so.
How about taking upa course on Family laws in Canada. She can provide consultancy services to desis (to begin with) or how about a child care centre?
Seniors should better answere this.
