Finally I am looking for mooving to Edmonton from Toronto after 7 long years. Any body on this forum from Edmonton? What are the area good for Indian Family? I am looking for buying a house in a clean & safe area?

South East Edmonton (Milwood Area) is the desi area but it is also the most crime infested area. South West Edmonton is the new area and very good area for family , also it is whithin driving distance of Millwood for Indian Shopping.

You are right. Most Indian people are living in Millwoods (expensive houses though). I too. I am living here since a year but I heard about only 1 murder and if you are real Indian, this crime rate is nothing. Also west-south area is good.

Just search in google map for edmonton and desi or india or indian and you wil get a list of restaurants.
I haven't had good Indian food in north america yet so basically just choose any restaurant closest to you. also there is a samosa hut or something.

new Asian Village in in Millwoods and Daawat .Edmonton is a good place.food is great in New Asian village.
