We are Indian and my family members are PR card holders since 2 years. We are in Dubai and earn AED 22,000 monthly nett. Now I have an offer from a company in Edmonton for 65,000 $ a year. Is it worth? Can someone guide us?
Yes. it is a good move.
However do note that you will be taxed heavily and that you need tp pay the air fare to india for vacation from your own pocket.
However, if you are moving for your children, less corruption, experience heat and snow, good roads, cheap cars, seeing Gora's daily and work with them and even be served by them, it is a very good chance.
If saving money and going to India often is your priority, it is a bad move though the salary is very good even for Canadian standards.
Peace

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
When you say "We", I assume you and your spouse. And $65,000 salary is for you alone that means your spouse could also land in a job and earn that would push your income high? Probably you could approach that way.
Apart from salary perspective, you need to list of your major objective of moving and your level of resistance to the new weather. I think if you do little more research on several previous posts, you will get a good idea.
Unfortunately, I have no clue about Edmonton and I am sure there will be some one from Edm... will respond you in detail.

No trees were killed by this post, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

You may like it or you miss all the sunshine , warm weather and goodies of Dubai . I understand 22K AED may have a potential of 7K AED ~ CAD 2.1K(after taxes) . 65K may provide you a saving potential of 1.5K .
But then you work with a different cross section of people altogether and more permanence here .
There are pluses and minuses but the proof of the pudding lies in eating it - come and experience for yourself. You may not regret it .

Fido.
65K is not much, I moved from Dubai in 2005, make much more than 65K. But still not enough especially with the high taxes etc.
But everyone's situation and needs are different.
Just in terms of Salary, Canada is no way good as compared to Dubai.
