Akhil we are also in the same boat..But as we had done a bit of homework before coming here,found it a little easier in settling down...
South side seems like a good area and we are planning to shift there....
Also the West areas are good.But you should avoid the downtown areas.

The job market seems to be slow...But hoping to get some positive feedback soon...
