Is Dora the explorer a good cartoon to watch by toddlers (from a Desi view point).
and is there any place in the west end of the GTA which sells this DVD for $1 or $ 2?
The libraries are always empty (taken by other people) when it comes to Dora DVD and it retails in Canadian stores for $10.

I would not let my kid watch a copied movie, the picture quality is so poor on these DVDs that it is going to hurt kid's eye site if they watch such movies repeatedly and they do watch repeatedly. $ 10.00 is not a big amount to spend on a DVD if you keep health of a kid in consideration.

You can request the titles to be put on hold for you using the web portal of the Library. You should start getting the copies within 4-6 weeks of your request.

Also, you might find Videos of Dora the explorer and Deigo which are not so much in demand.

If you have rogers regular cable subscription, you can find most of the programmes on Channel 65 - Treehouse TV very good for kids upto the age of 6 yrs.

I cannot comment on being good for desi, but my kids learnt a lot from these, but I am happy they pickup characters and accent of the place where they are going to study and have friends in future.

Noggin Channel is very educational my 3 year old watches and tells me not to waste water in the sink as it is bad for Mother Nature.

Go to Pacific mall in scarborough. They sell 8 DVD,s (DOra/Diego or anyother cartoon) for 20 $.

We bought it for our daughter. Picture quality was very good and its worth the money
