offlately I am having problems with my browser internet exploer/mozilla firefox when i am browsing through different windows all of a sudden an alert box pops up indicating that internet explorer/mozilla has encountered a problem and needs to close. So i loose the page or at times if i am filling a form i loose all the information and i have to revisit the page again. Any suggestions what can have happened i am using windows Xp professional operating system
Uninstall all non-Micro$oft browsers and install IE 6.0 SP1.
Seriously - on Windows operating systems, IE works best.
Go for IE 6.0 until everything is stable.
Then you may upgrade to 7.0 if you wish.
7.0 has worked well on Windows 2003, but not on the older versions of XP.
