There s no set location for IT jobs - you could get one in Toronto , Mississauga , Markham ..... whats more important is that you should have good connectivity .

If you don't have car (most new immigrants ) then you have to rely on public transit - hence choose a location where you can get direct Mississauga Transit / TTC so that you can avoid double fare .

Islington Bloor is such a location . Another location is Burnamthorpe - Old Mill Rd ....... besides Etobicoke (above 2 locations) is central to both Toronto & Mississauga ......... and as someone has mentioined - might be having lesser rentals ....

i would like to thank you for important information , i have decided to choose place close to HWY 427 - Burnamthorpe / BLOOR/ Dundas along with EST-WEST Mall/ Islington /Kipling

Please let me know if that is a good location and also like to know from you that if there is any low rise building apartment, since i don't prefer high rise

i have gone threw your previous post and noticed that u have just moved last year and u do have recent experience on finding apartment so your input will be very helpful.

what will be the rent for 2 BDR apartment.
also if there is any good clinic since i will be moving with one year old kid.

also i would like to know if i can find some DESI babysitter on those area.

i am assuming these places are safe since u also live somewhere around there means u have not chosen bad area.

I wouldstrongly recommend Mabelle Avenue apartments (near Islington Subway). These are massive high rise apartments and filled with Desi's that you can get easy baby sitter (Desi). It is very near to public transportation (subway, Buses) to Toronto / Mississauga. The apartmentsare not Condo's nor very clean ones but it is clean and rents are around $900-$1000 for 2 bed apartments (I would assume).
If you are a Gujju' Gujju's are located on Kipling road at the intersection of Kipling and Rexdale (Janusuie road). Apartments are not that clean + only TTC bus is available but it is populated with Gujarathi's as well as areas north of Finch (from Martin Grove to Weston road).
My assumption (I may be wrong) that there are no much high rises around the west mall area.

I hv car and my wife will not be working for atleast one year once I move so transportation is not a problem either. After having one year spend in toronto I will have better idea where to buy house. So in the beginning my priority is job( IT) , clinics.
