Safe Neighbourhoods in Toronto area with Indians

I want to know what are the safe neighborhoods in Toronto area where lot of Indians live and apartments are reasonably priced and schools are good.

Welcome to Canada. Indian community is scattered almost everywhere in GTA. For start Mississauga/Brampton will be good. Again it depends where you find a job. If you live close to square one then you will have good access to public transportation and if you don't have a car also you can manage. In Brampton you might find cheap apartments than Mississauga, but the public transit in Brampton is not as good as Mississauga. There are plenty of Indian grocery stores in both Brampton and Mississauga and both areas are safe.

Other CD's who live in Scarborough, Markham, Toronto can tell you more about those areas

I am also moving soon and getting difficult to choose place to move.

Is steel –finch – Bay view av – dufferin that circle is good in north york ? or
Steel – martin groove ?
Is Markham good ?

I am In Computer filed

We are young couple with 2 little kids under 3 years

Etobicoke also one of the best place for new immigrant to settle and the apartment is more cheaper then missassauga

What are the best places to get IT jobs( computer jobs) beside downtown Toronto.
I am moving to Toronto in summer 2009, I will like to stay close to the place where i can get job in my filed.

I don’t have much experience about Toronto neither I have friends in Toronto who I can ask about job market. So my best truthful source will be CD’s.

Please can you tell me at which area there is majority of job in IT , I will based my decision on job places.

To take a move decision I will put priority as followed: 1st – Work place, 2nd- hospital – child clinic- 3rd Indian community ( for baby siting facilities)
