Hi,I wish to know how and when to apply for immigration ,as I have pending divorce case by mutual consent ,which is likely to get over in next six months.

should I apply now or after the case is over i.e. six months time? I also have a 3 year old child whose custody shall remain with me? I am confused if apply right away my application shall get rejected and if I wait for six months new rules might come up and I might just miss the chance.
