Happened to see this forum, found it very informative.
Myself and my husband are living in UAE, we received letter from CHC for submitting medical and PCC from india and saudi. We have completed medical. PCC we could not get from saudi, response saudi emabssy was very poor. PCC from india we will be getting next month.

My question is, how much time usually it takes to receive landing papers after submitting PCC. Anybody experienced from gulf will be helpful.

Hi Minu,

Normally it takes 2-3 months after medical to receive the passport request & further 2-3 weeks to get the visa & the landing papers. In your case passport request might be delayed due to delay in getting PCC.

It depends on which CHC u applied in.If its london or Delhi, there are lots of letters on that.If it is to one, which , doesnt cover UAE , then they will ask u to submit an address in the country of the CHC or any country in its jurisdiction

We applied to CHC UK in Nov 2002,
Received file no. in Feb 2003
Received interview waiver in Dec 2003 and at the same time they asked us to send medical examination report and PCC.
