I am Canadian Citizen and i would like to sponser my brother to canada.when i filled for canadian immigration i have mentioned his name in the file .
can i sponser him .

You cannot sponsor your brother, unless he is below 21 years and/or dependent on your parents. You can sponsor your parents and if your brother is below 21 or a full time student over the age of 21, he will be sponsored along with them.

However, if you are living in one of the provinces which allow the sponsorship under Family Stream via PNP (e.g. Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba etc), you may be able to sponsor them, but only if you and your brother meet the requirements. Check out the websites for these provinces to see if you and your brother meet the requirements. I may be wrong, but to my knowledge, all the provinces except Ontario and British Columbia offer a Family Stream sponsorship via PNP. Please confirm and check if you and your brother are eligibile.
