There is a door to door service through a Parcel Service called CANPAR. Here is an approximate cost for a small delivery of 5.0 Kgs,about $11.00 No signature needed.

They have an 800 number to call and get their fact sheets and delivery schedules. They also might have SAME DAY deliveries to certain areas. Please see if Kingston is one of them.

"Dabba System" is a premium service. It is a proven system, which is hard to beat and cannot be compared. The main factor is that the supporting infrastructure for such activities does not exist in an advanced society like Canada. Also if the labour is not cheap, it cannot be accomplished.

But they are very successful in Germany with their Tube Pneumatic Transport System and it will catch up in time, all over the world.
