Hi,
I need an expert advise on the web domain management. Couple of days ago, I registered a domain on Yahoo Small Business with my Yahoo ID. I created the site, and published it online. Now, the issue is I want to enable someone else to edit the site in my absence but site administration on Yahoo could only be accessible using the ID I used to register the domain. That's the mistake I committed by not creating another id for the site admin. Now, this other person want to edit the site and I can't give them my Yahoo id that I used for registration.
Is there anyway, I could add this person's ID to the site administration for them to edit the site in my absence? Has anyone got any idea?
I even wrote to the Yahoo Small business but haven't received any response even after 2 weeks.
Any help or advise is appreciated. Thank you.
Found this on yahoo help - http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/smallbusiness/webhosting/frontpage/frontpage-34.html
You can create a user and grant ftp access or you could add a new user and grant specific access, I would back up my source code first! before adding a user to your control panel.
Hope this helps!
This certainly helped. Thanks a lot. I am going to try it, for sure.
Thanks again.
PM me if you need help... I'm jobless anyway!
