Dear Canadian Desi’s,

Thank you for the knowledge and help this forum brings to the Desi community in Canada. Let’s use this opportunity to form a networking group for Ajax, Pickering, Whitby and Oshawa communities.

Purpose of this thread is to help CD’s living in these areas to form like-minded, family oriented groups to meet and socialize. This will help everyone:
1) Arrange get-togethers, picnics, daytrips, celebrate festivals etc.
2) Arrange for play-dates for children of similar ages.
3) Arrange for parents of CD’s to meet when they visit Canada.
4) Inform each other of events and activities taking place in GTA………and much more.

Please introduce yourself for the benefit of other members. Kindly refrain from giving out your email Id and Phone numbers on the threads. (These details can be sent by PM to one another.)

Thanks suresh. You are most welcome to participate. Once we have a sizeable number of families, a get-together can be arranged at one of the nearest public parks where everyone can meet and introduce.

We are a family of three hailing from Bangalore and Hyderabad. Our child is 4.5 yrs old and enjoys outdoor activities and playing with children. It will be fun to arrange play dates for children.

There is a Pumpkinville festival in North Ajax on october 17th.
