The CRTC has allowed this channel to be broadcast in Canada. I am looking forward to some alternate perspective to news stories.

This is a very welcome news.

Every story has two sides to it. We need to hear both the sides before we make up our mind.

AJE is heavily loaded with english journalist from NA and Europe. Hope they will give a balanced news to the masses.

There is a fear that it will end up as a propaganda tool for Islamists.

Many a times these guys will have access to the guys on the ground, while the firangi may be a kidnapping/ransom target.

Hope the moderate/progressive Islamic people will use this tool to balance the fundamentalists propanda.

Incidentally as we speak the CMR 101.3 FM the tamil channel is on the \"Maveerar Day\" propaganda and tomorrow will be the day they will honor the fallen LTTE fighters(terrorists?).This is the freedom of speech and expression available in Canada.

If we muffle voices it will propagate conspiracy theories than real news.

May be we will have our own Desi Channels to be shown live for NA.

May be AJE will set a precedence for others to follow.
