I think Dev D came out in 2008. Not sure .. can't remember. But yes excellent movie.

* ing Shahid Kapoor and Genelia D' Souza is I about a Delhite in Mumbai trying to make it big in the world of entertainment. This movie starts well and looks like its going to be a romantic comedy, but then after the first 30mins it loses its focus. We don't know if the lead wants to be a dancer or an actor, we see lots of characters (like a school principal, a mute school girl etc) being introduced who don't move the story forward and you wonder what they were there for. The story jumps from one thing to the other and honestly I don't know what this movie was meant to be about or what genre I can put it in (romantic? comedy?, coming of age?) . But its still sort of watchable .. so rated it time-pass.
