I got a comptetitive rate for 10 yrs some time back when the market was lower. I went by the assumption that irrespective of what the specialists / experts say, my payout is fixed. Hence, if the rate you get meets your expectations, go for fixed and sleep well at night. Question - r u inclined to keep awake at night thinking of rate movements or do u prefer to sleep well without getting hassled into such computations which in the end will have a minimal impact to the final position? Ultimately, its a gamble that only u must take for yourself. Any comments?
Yes hakuna, its a gamble but with 5% you still end up paying much more than one would go on floating. Definitely it is personal choice.
