Which one is better, in terms of cost and overall ease of use? Can I take printouts of the final tax summary from either of them, and submit it as hard-copy tax return to the local CRA office?
I have never done tax returns myself before, so need some feedback.

I use Ufile, but have tried Quicktax also. Both are good, it's just a matter of following all the steps and getting used to the software.
Yes you can take printouts and file a paper return.
