Why do u guys need desi torrents when u can get the DVD at the store for 1$...
For TV shows there are so many websites and youtube where people post linls..
You could download HD movies from DT. Recently I saw 720p HD copy of Rajneethi by connecting to my TV and I must say that the quality was awesome.
I couldnt find an invite option on DT, maybe I am not allowed to invite...but I will check again.
If only movie is the criteria than You tube is offering over 400 free movies

The quality of the movies from the local DVD stores is terrible. I don't mind waiting for a good print, but these stores generally have bad prints however long you wait. It must be DVD quality .. and not a camera copy i.e. a guy with a camcoder in a cinema hall.
Also many of the local store DVDs are not in widescreen but in 4:3. Or sometimes have been stretched from their original aspect ratio to a different aspect ratio making people appear slim or fat.

So true! And they always claim it is the best print out there, not sure if this is a sales tactic or they are really not aware of DVD - Blue ray rips out there. I hate arguing with them, stopped buying Hindi DVDs since 2005..
I haven't been able to find a DT invite on my homepage either or would have sent you one. Do you think you lost access because of not maintaining the ratio?
