Any special methods adopted to hide it from xray machines identifying it?

Why you want to conceal/hide? Where you want to take the jewellery - India or Canada or somewhere else.

I will suggest you to not put the jewellery in check-in luggage as if your luggage is lost by airlines (which do happen) then you will be left with nothing (airlines is not going to pay you for jewellery).

I can understand your fear. Many times, when you put Gold in checked baggae, it is scanned before putting it on the plane and if they find gold in it, they may break the suitcase and steal the gold.
What people normally do is to cover the gold in Carbon paper (used to be available in India in the 1990's. Not sure if it still is ). X-rays canot pass through carbon paper unless now they have designed x-rays to pas through it.
People also used to do this to escape from Indian customs demanding a bribe for the jewllery.
Peace

Take it with you on carry on baggage.

There are special bags available in market that prevent x-rays from damaging the film rolls used in camera called Film Safe X-ray Bag. I do not know if they would hide the contents inside. If the person manning the machine finds anything suspicious, they will ask you open the baggage.

Lead lined containers will have the same effect i.e. block the X-Rays.
However, such containers show up on the screen as black boxes.
It will probably make the person manning the scanner suspicious and they will ask you to open the bag and examine all its contents.

Hi friends ,
Thank you all for your valuable inputs and suggestions.
I had used the method of carbon wrapping when I travelled to canada from India, I was trying to find out if there are more new developed methods people are using now.
Thanks once again for your time .

I would doubt carbon paper would be able to block x-rays.
