I just cant afford these eyeglasses here. I got some from India, very cheap and good but they broke. So anybody know any desis who have shops and provide good prices, please divulge.

Try chinatown...not desi but you could get some cheaper ones there ....many of these biggr showrooms carry hongkong/chinese frames ... but watch out on quality tho.
