One of our relatives had a C section and delivered baby when it was due, all went fine but she was given some iron supplements that did not suit her system, which she stopped taking. This was due to some anemia as identified by the doctors.
She is home now and can not breast feed as she is feeling weak (even though hemoglobin in her blood is fine) does not feel hungry and is constantly vomiting and can not keep anything down.
Took her to emergency twice but the doctors dont know whats going on and have loaded her with Gravol, as soon as the effect of gravol goes she starts throwing up again !!!
We are quite concerned about her condition as this could become serious afterwards. just had a couple questions
- Is this normal after C section and if so - how long does this last ?
- What should be done (Desi remedy if any as well) to help this situation.
Thank you for all advise as always.
My wife had C-section on Jan 18th, she had a constant vomiting for the next 36 hours of the operation.
They say it's due to the mixture of medicines during C-sections like Anestheseia, gravol, tylenol, etc...
Once all the medicines are flushed out - the body becom3es normal.
The best food is liquid for the next 3 to 4 days of C-section operation.
