Akkiluck, my mom has suffered from migraines throughout her life. There is no treatment which fully took the aches but she did found some temporary relief in homeopathy. The homeopath and even the GP advised her to watch the food, weather or incidences triggering it. She noticed that eating beans, walking in sun, the smell of fuel, stress, and staying hungry (she cannot keep fasts) triggered them. Vomiting helped her, I mean always after a vomit it subsided. Mainly her aches subsided after her menopause but all my growing years I saw her suffering atleast twice a month. I assume you live in Canada, sorry I've no ideas of homeopaths in Canada. My mom was in Delhi and went to the one in many in the neighborhood.

Hope this helps you in any way.

Jona

Hi,
I too get quite offten, the only remidy i found is just sleep in dark room with some help of "IBeprofin" or "acetemphonin" and ample of pure water.

i tried to find the things which triggers, but failed...some times for no reason it triggers me..

One of my friend got reduced these aches, while practicising yoga/naturopathy...i guess i will give a shot next time when i got to india...

hope you get relief..

I am not sure if this applies to you but My aunt also gets these attacks but it reduced almost 75% when she got her alergies tested. If she drinks milk she gets headache, if she eats rice at night she gets it. By just cutting off on these two things she benefitted a lot.

You might want to get your alergies tested. Just a suggestion.

Hi,
I had sufferred with Migraine for about 15 years. I had tried every possible method/medication/therapy/totka/taawiz etc.. I found homeopathy better than english medicines but it is a looooooong process.
Thank GOD, I didn't get any attack for last couple of years and the cure was: Anulom-Vilom......pranayaam. I did that for about 2 weeks, 2-3 minutes a day and guess what? my migraine was gone!!! I am very thankful to GOD and to baba Ramdev and my elder sis too because my sister had attended his shiwir in India and she suggested me to try Anulom-Vilom and it worked wonders for me.
Otherwise for quick relief: The moment I used to have some migraine attack 'feeling', I used to take 2 disprine tablets in half a glass of water and rest for 5-10 minutes or engaged myself in some work so that my attention got diverted.
I would strongly suggest to do Anulom-Vilom exercise. You will see the results within 2 weeks.
Try it and let us know.
All the very best and wish you a 'Migraine Free' life.
