my friend arranged medicines by courier last year and he had a trouble. Because courier's policy is to open and see the goods. Than he received a notice from canada border services and he had to pay the medicine destroy fees.

I had called medicines by india post and canada post and it came as usual, no problems (took little long though)

This story is a year and half back.

About a sixmonths back I read a story in a SUN news paper about medicines dumping in canada through Canada Post.

So they know it and they might have or have not taken actions against it. Give a try. Dont worry for penalties, you can say its not your envelope, if you forsee any trouble
