Can anyone let me know approx timeline for each event (viz. receiving file no, interveiw call etc...etc) since the date of application filing up at CIC Delhi.
Generally
1)AOR (File no.) One to two months.
2)Interview waiver/interview from 2 to 3 years.
3)Medical and ROLF request after successful interview or interview waiver (within one to two months)
Cheers
Raj

Thanks Raj for prompt reply. I had filed my appli @ CHC Delhi in Mar 04, but still i haven't received any communication from CHC. I'm worried, i believe i should get atleast file no by the end of this month with the timeline you are suggesting.
Anyway, let hope for the best & prepare for the worst. Secondly, i'm new to this immigration process & thus asking what is this ROLF, can you pl explain this.
Thanks in anticipation.
Regards,
Manan
ROLF = Right of Landing Fee but it has been changed to RPRF under new law.
Actually its known as RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEE.

You may get AOR before 9 months, but the rest stretches right till the deadlines set. CHC NEW DELHI - Residual cases of 1999, 2000, and 2001 are in process as gathered from various discussion forums. 2002 cases are yet to come for review..... So your case may still take a long time. Patience is the name of the game.

Lead, Kindly Light!!
I had filed my application in April 2001. In April 2004, I got letter waiving interview & asking me to appear for medical. I got my medical conducted in May. Doctor said that since my daughter had undergone an operation for correcting urine reflux problem when she was 7 months, CIC might ask for latest medical test reports.
How soon can I expect this letter & how seriously can this affect my visa chances? After medical, when is visa generally issued? All other formalities have been completed from my end.
