what did the officer tell you after the interview. usually they tell you right away. but dont make any changes in your life till you have the landing papers in your hand. they dont guarentee anything infact not till you have actually landed. here. i have know ppl who simply take aleave of absense from the job say 3 months. do their landing see how it goes. then take permanent action toward the jobs at home.
