May his soul rest in peace. India should have done something concrete. Our netas are busy fighting coal scam, 2G, etc. There is no time for the poor souls such as Sarabjit.
Where is the country heading? I don't know.

Can we discuss a topic without having to bring 'kangress', 'sonia', 'MMS' into every single discussion?
Even if Vajpayee was the PM, i fail to see what different way he would have dealt with Sarabjit singh tragedy. Is he going to launch a commando raid to rescue Sarabjit?
We have to recognize that we are dealing with an entity (Pakistan) that has descended into complete chaos. The citizens of this country are killing each other just for the heck of it. A non-Muslim living among a Muslim population was always a dangerous proposition. It is believed that the jail authorities facilitated this terrible act.
I pray that Sarabjit finds peace and freedom at least in death.
RIP Sarabjit. His family is real fighter including his sister, daughter and rest of the members.
Is it just me to see that how media coverage and most likely politicians behind it managed to divert the attention from the major issue currently spreading in India faster than cancer..Are they trying to settle the score that 5 yr old got raped in congress led givt whereas 4 yr old met horrible fate in BJP let govt. teri bhi chup meri bhi. Not trying to compare tragedies and which one should given more attention. But being a prisoner in Pakistan, what do you expect more. At least it put an end to misery for Sarabjit and his family. But how come media/govt ignoring cries of mom who took the risk of leaving the daughter alone so that she could feed her only.
Only stricter laws not going to change anything. There needs to be national level campaign to spread awareness. There has been effective campaign on smoking, tobacco even shouchalaya..govt, media and law should launch all out awareness campaign which will make every male ashamed of.
Pakistan is creating hurdles for gettingthe body back to India. Every dept wants a NOC from police, including the Narcotics people who think that there may be something in the coffin.
Sarabjit's sister blasted the parties involved. I think we need netas like her who tell as it is. In the end he was a pawn in the political game.
While we offer our condolences to the family, there remains many unanswered questions.
Nobody would have crossed over on a sight seeing trip. He must have been sent on some trivial surveillance assignment. It was unfortunate that when he was caught, his masters disowned him.
Unfortunately, when some bomb blast happened at that time, he was caught and the charges were foisted on him.
But as usual, our rulers were not bothered. They have gone to Delhi only to loot the nation and become rich. If they really thought that Sarabjit was important, they would have postponed Afzal Guru's execution. Even as it happened, we knew, Sarabjit became unsafe.
No use blaming the Lahore Jail authorities, last month, in our own backyard Tihar, one rape accused was supposed to have committed suicide in his cell amidst 4 others, at 5.00 AM in the morning!
When criminals can rule from outside the prison, can they not from inside also?
