Why blame our netas in India. This guy is power hungry and will go to any extent. Let him run against Hillary Clinton. Once he loses, he will start thinking what went wrong.

It may be calculated statement but he has forgotten that it was his brown parents (the Indo- American immigrants! who worked hard for him to push him for his bachelor and masters else born to american parents there was only 35% or less chances he would have made it beyond high school.
This is not first time he is denouncing his roots. His children do not have 'Jindal' in their names, so you can imagine how much he hates his own skin.

Sorry happywoman36, I don't subscribe to what you mentioned above in this context. I will write up again in detail as to why.
Besides, Canadian politics is 'Maha' boring, and food bland. I still love Canada though.

Febpreet, we may differ coz I am talking as a mom and my whole world revolve around my children. I got married and relocated abroad so, I have learned to love the country I stay in.
Isn't it the same for all of us? When does loving India comes in a way of being a patriotic Canadian/American? Why should I (or anyone) be questioned for watching more Bollywood than Hollywood, eating Daal-roti-chawal than Pizza/donuts, watching and talking about Cricket 24x7 than Hockey, and be interested in Indian politics than its boring Canadian counterpart? I have a Caucasian friend, born and raised and Canada. He follows India more religiously than even I do. Does it mean he has become less Canadian?
Bobby's logic is simply hollow. It's me and me alone, who decides what my preferences and lifestyle should be, as long as it's not harming someone else or society at large. This doesn't make me less Canadian/American and doesn't take the love for Canada away. As long as I don't let my 'agarbatti (incense)' smells go out and hamper my neighbor, they shouldn't have anything to do with it and question my integrity towards loving Canada.
I feel proud that I have the best of both worlds.
