I am planning a Diwali Party. I have a regular caterer - who makes the most amazing food. They have however moved to Alberta.
Need suggestions for any good caterer. We will have about 30-40 people - veg and non veg. If anyone can suggest some good caterer - who also provides delivery - please let me know.

If you had given one of your previous menus and the cost of such catering, it would have narrowed down the search.
Here is a local website for the GTA Toronto, same planet and the same constellation... They give a few of the top notch caterers here and for an Office- X-mas party if it calls for Spritis, Seating and placement and other requirements, you can also look into the same location.
There are a few up and coming GTA caterers, who compete for their share, quoting slightly under the going rates, with No Christmas cheers for rock bottom prices as their overheads are lot less and for a small party of 50 and under, are also available. I don't recall using them ever, so cannot provide any references.
They had gate crashers even at the White House Party are any allowed at yours too? (Any dress codes, Mmmm? )

For Food :
Recently took services of Rajadhani Sweets Brampton for a 50 people get together.
Excellent food, on time delivery. Everybody praised the food and above 25 people the rate is nominal (around 6 per person for the food , rates for snacks is per pound or piece)

For Serving
Pls ask them if they can arrange for the servers if you need some hands. otherwise generally Guests will know how to pick stuff from the table and where to throw the done up plates.
Enjoy the Party, as a host it is generally tough to enjoy though but satisfaction of people praising the good food and service is what one can enjoy atleast. all the best ( To clarify I have no personal relation with Rajadhani guys and this is not promotion but narration of similar personal experience )
Thanks Fido and San Hugo. I shall call Rajdhani. I was thinking of Brar - Brampton - since we are finally thinking of only veg food. However, they will not deliver on the 3 days of 1-2-3 November - since they have some sweet sale and are short staffed. Their package starts from $7.99. The one we were thinking of ordering was for $12. - which includes 2 starters.
Thanks again for the suggestions - I am looking for tried and tested caterers - since like you rightly said - we want people to come and enjoy the food.

Go for Rajdhani. If they are free during the diwali time, use their services.
I would also recommend India's place in Brampton. They also serve Buffet which is very cheap, tasty and has a lot of items. So I am sure that both their price will be less and quality more better.
