1.Complete renovation of Basement ( to do some water proofing and have a floor that is more warmer and redesign the interiors)
2.To renovate kitchen design completely with open concept
3. To add one additional room toward backyard and a washroom at main floor
4. To change the old hardwood floor with new one
5. Total painting.
I have no plan to move to a different home instead of renovating the old one.

You will do better moving out of the house temporarily for 30 days, during the summer. (Remove everything totally and store it in a container, live away for 30 days.)
1) Waterproofing exterior and interior, plus additional drainage and if needed rain water collection or seperate drain to street., Plus finishing the bsmt..
2) Total renewal of cabinets or just the New doors and an island..
3) Expensive proposition plus entails upgrading of HVAC
4) Reason for the suggestion to get out for 30 days. Flooring... Use NEW products to finish, if needed add bevelled glass doors.
5) Painting. a must.
By the by, I only know Desis, some architects, some HVAC, Some wood workers and all are clean and good workers. They need to sequence their work and some times they need a little flexibility in completion times. Every job does not move smoothly, and gets into a few glitches. Also see the Breaker's Amperage on the electrical Panel.
All of these need permits, inspection, passing and your go ahead too. Cost increase comes into play when you encounter glitches. Minimum 25%. and HVAC is another ball of wool of a different colour and might get into zonal heating and electronic dampers and recirculation issues too. The extra that you did not plan on spending.
XTRA ROOM... depends upon available area, Ratio of land to built up area..
