Bringing Tobacco from India

Hello,

I will be travelling to Canada next month and an Uncle of mine has request me to bring 2 cartons of beedi's for him.

Will it be allowed in canada and can I enter with this or do I have to declare in customs.

yes but I guess you need to follow the limits of 200 tobacco sticks

Extract from CSBA website:

Tobacco products: If you are 18 years of age or over, you are allowed to bring in all of the following amounts of tobacco into Canada free of duty and taxes within your personal exemption:

200 cigarettes;
50 cigars;
200 grams (7 ounces) of manufactured tobacco; and
200 tobacco sticks.
