I can totally understand the jubilation of the AAP crowd. What i cannot understand is the impatience and "wave the wand" mentality of the Indian public.
Now that AAP is the majority, how is Kejriwal going to get rid of the tag "Delhi-the rape capital of India"? I assume, Delhi woman can roam the nights now?
Is he ready to prevent the next Trilokpuri communal riot or the next church vandalism?
Is he going to make Delhi corruption free that perhaps Febpreet's parents get back their hard earned money?
The point is, once the Jubilation is over. It's all back to the same problems and the same solutions.
A win is only as good as the next scandal or crime or a riot that comes along. Then the public goes into the "beat him up mode".
For now celebrate the win , let the problems wait be solved and if they are not ...Well the public will beat up AK & Modi both .
If there s sincerity in solving the problems and dexterity to follow it up , if not completely a good portion of the problem should be solved .

Fido.
Agree, Women security , preventing rapes and assault in particular is one of the most difficult problem to solve. But that does not mean the efforts cannot be made. Some visible efforts will be required, there are some proposals as I heard in some debates such as to installing cctv cameras on risk area, improving on street lighting, hotline, launching service apps with free wifi, free self defense training, improving PCR vigil, employing special task force and most importantly creating a culture of respect for women and gender equality.
Efforts will define the results and Efforts will improve on the satisfaction among masses.
Not easy , but doable.
A Friendly debate between BJP and AAP with Arnub.

In their earlier stint the way Somnath Bharathi handled prostitution problem inside a residential area was right. But the media, police and lawyers cried that he was high handed etc. etc.

Only morons will think this way and take out the averages of opening of schools in every 3 days. Its worst than being uneducated. Or in other words may be some Bhakt calculated those averages in expectation of some modic chamatkar.
If you want to count the pressure on AAP, rationally and practically. here it is :
Schools : Atleast at the end of first year 100 schools should be open. Trend should then be repeated every year.
Colleges : Around 4 Colleges (this include vocational colleges) to be opened in first year. and trend should continue for every year.
CCTV Camera - There is no count of 15 lacs or whatever given in manifesto. this is man-garrant figure . But every public Transport will have cctv camera , bus station , metro station etc will have cctv camera. A shopkeeper can install in Rs 10k. it is not very expensive. Individual MLAs should start working in their area. It will be quick.
Public Toilets : Manifesto says 2 Lakh toilets, out of which 1.5 in slum area and 50k in public places. Not very difficult, A contractor can cover a slum of 10k jhuggies in 60 days time, work can go in parallel. Also There must be already 30-40 k non working or dirty structures in public places.
This is doable, its all about intentions. Sewa kee bhavana , bhagwaan kee nahi , logon kee.
There will be no new mandir in Delhi for sure.
